I live in a beach community, I would love to feel good in a bathing suit. not being out of breath! My kids think im great heavy or thin, but id love to be in shape and be able to run around more with them. To go back to my former office up north when i visit , and parade around in front of one of my former employees(who was vicious) and just smile! Jennifer -

my surgeon , just says eat lightly , Ive been doing two shakes and a meal at night . So maybe don't blow a whole day , just do one last meal at night (and not the night before). im in south florida...its a hike . But im seeing the chief of surgery/head bariatric surgeon, Dr Paul Wizman in margate. Great office !!! look him up. Apparently he sees high weight people and revisions as well. -
Make sure you ask them if you will be put in icu after because of the cpap. My surgeon told two people yesterday at pre -op that don't be surprised if you wake up in icu for one night. Jennifer

If my surgeon wanted to remove my Gallbladder , id say ok. He is the Doctor and he knows what he is doing. Gallbladders after bariatric surgery can be iffy from what my surgeon said. I would much rather have it out if it looks questionable. Jennifer

Im suprised they don't give you more info. I had to attend a four hour class about the surgery today. ......no pre op diet but im still doing one. Jennifer

I actually Gain weight looking at food and i finally dropped the 3 lbs i gained going out to cheesecake factory a few weeks back....so no im sticking to it ....lol Jennifer -

well , im completely stocked up with protein shakes. i did a extra week of the protein shakes. I do have chicken and a veggie for dinner though. Starting tuesday im on all liquid for two weeks. Best of luck to you all !!!! Jennifer

My office called me the same day i was approved ...they pester the insurance too lol. i was scheduled within a month. -

isopure dutch chocolate powder at GNC is yummy and 50 grams of protein with two scoops . add water and i add two packets of splenda . its good and im not hungry pre-op on it. -
I think you should send in those weights you found with a appeal letter. people on here may have some samples. If not the insurance commissioner for your state can help. Jennifer

mine is on the 16th and my surgeon apparently requires a 10 lb weight loss which ive been on a almost liquid diet . I have lost the few lbs i gained not dieting and .2 ounces only of the weight they want lost. Looks like ill be on all liquid starting tuesday.

i started my pre -op a week early to make sure i lose something before the surgery. I think they want 10 lbs. ive allready in 3 days lost what i gained but still have the 10 lbs....blahhhh. August 17th hurry up!!!! best of luck to you all!!! Jennifer
