I am on my pre op diet, which consists of 2 shakes and a low or no carb meal at night. I thought i was doing great on weight loss (10 lbs) and now i weigh myself and im up 3 today What the heck!!! I hope the band helps me more with keeping the weight off. Im following the instructions and have been to the gym 3 times this week allready. Any advice would help. Jennifer

Im frustrated too ...but most of all i think my hubby is gonna throw my scale out the window . I had to lose the weight i gained in the approval process. i was borderline and then some. some days ive lost , then the next day im up two freakin lbs. Anyways im looking forward to the band!!!!! ~jennifer~

My office called me the same day the insurance company approved me and gave me a date. Maybe they are trying to schedule alot of people right now...shrug -

i have the isopure dutch chocolate from Gnc......LOVE IT!!!! in fact i have my whole Dental office drinking it with me on the two week pre -op ...lol 50 grams of protein and on sale this month at Gnc for 38.99 for 3 lbs!!! -

I don't think a revision would typically go from bypass to lapband . That a surgeon would probably have to answer -

My Doc doesn't allow full foods for 30 days. Liqids 2 weeks, mushy 2 weeks then full diet. -
Best inexpensive but accurate and consistent Bathroom Scale.

i bought the tanika jenny craig one which 4 people can program to their own height and weight. Buy it on ebay and pay 1/2(thats what i did) it sells for 90 and i bout it for 38 plus shipping. Hope it helps~ Jennifer -

Ive resorted to putting two ugly king size sheets on our 2 year old family room couches!!! if i can't change them i'll embarass them with a whole lot of ugly! FYI my kids are 18, 13, and 11. My grown kid is in his 40's -hubby.
