Ok if you can eat hamburger, chicken and steak, that means your band might need another adjustment. I'm not saying you will never be able to eat these things again, but it will take some time if you have another fill. My dr told me if I was able to eat those kind of meats, my band wasn't tight enough, and he adjusted me and it helped so much. Do stick to protein shakes, yogurt, etc. Remember to exercise as frequent as you can. I do 3-5 times a week and that helps me a lot. I started doing weights a few months back and I have seen inches come off!
Talk to your doctor about another adjustment and see what he/she says.
