Mississippi here too....still fighting with insurance company but yeap total cost is over 27,000 and using Dr. Girod if insurance would hurry up and give me a approval

still NO!!! the surgery office said they submitted every over 3 weeks ago and insurance company is saying they did not get any paper work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! getting so tried of all of this...other ladies were I work got their approvals in just a matter of days after they submitted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have done a year of the diet with my main doctor, i got 10 years of medical history, i did the phys evel, I wrote the letter stating why and what all i have done to lose weight. i got the letter from the doctor saying it is medical ness. Surgery office said they sent them over 3 weeks ago...insurance co still saying they dont have them.. so going today to get copies of EVERYTHING and sending them to the insurance co myself.....

Ok I have been dealing with this for over a year I am getting so tried of the bs..... over 2 weeks ago i was told by my surgerons office that everything was submitted and going good. but they did send a letter back to the surgery office asking for a list of all the diets i have tried over the last 10 years. Well I did that. well this weekend i got of waiting so i called my insurance company to find out if they need any more information... guess what they told me....Insurance company said that my doctor has not sent them anything and there was no record of them asking for any information on my weight.. that they had no record of my trying to get my pre-determ for the lapband surgery.. really feel like i am getting jerked around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I fully understand! Last January I started my doctor diet, to find out in July that he had not noted the diet stuff right.. The insurance company made me redo another 6 months. well we finally heard from the insurance company. I guess it is good news..they have not denied it. they wanted more information like what all I have I tried over the counter what was my biggest weight in the last 5 years and what is my current weight.. All they had to do is the read everything we sent them.....It was all in the packet that they got! Guess some insurance paper jockey miss placed things.

well, everything was going long fine, last week i went in for my last 6 month doctor diet visit. I was so happy! Well the surgerons office called me today and let me know that they recieved the notes from the regular doctor and guess what! He did not do the notes right!! He was only worried about the sugar and crap and for the first 4 months he did not put in the notes that I was there for weight loss program so I could get my surgery!! IF he is not willing to fix this I have to start over with another 4 months of visits.. He only documented May and June!! I can't stop crying, I have done everything I was suppose to do why did he not fill out the stupid notes right!:thumbup::scared2::scared2::incazzato:I jus feel like goin in the kitchen and pigging out but instead think I am going to take something for this headache then just go to bed....I just dont want to deal with this right now.

ok have an idea and was wondering if it would work..as of right now i am allowed one small soft meal a day until next week then it is to full liquids only.. so here is the idea if i put watermelon into a blender would that count as a liquid???? It is summer and I normally have watermelon EVERYDAY! (I know stupid question right)

:thumbup:ok up date: Doctor is letting me eat a small dinner with soft foods only but nothing after 6. well, I did really good today, for my dinner tonight i had plain mashed beats with a 1/2 cup of sherpards pie.. it was so cool I acutally felt when i got full and STOPPED!!! I left over half of the small dinner on the plate!!! I have NEVER done that before. Even though I am allowed to eat a small soft meal this week it is back to nothing but liquids next week. So I have decided that if I can go a full day without the meal I am..practice for next week as I see it.

OK I did well today. drank 32 oz of water, and 2 slim fast shakes.. But when I got home I was hungery but think i did good. just ate about 2 oz of smoked shredded turkey.. but now i am not feeling so good.

through the company they do...but you have to do the 6 month diet thing with the doctor and see a shrink
