I have been looking for a good forum, i think this is it, Lap- band year ago. have had many trials and errors.only lost 46 lbs. im back on track hope to loose more. -
i still havent got this thing figured out,i did have a profile picture on here but i can't find it anymore, my name is carolyn, i sent u my phone # did u get it? im retired LPN worked at health dept. in potosi, going tomorrow to see nurse one step at a time, next step surg, GURR! yes i text but im slow, im old ha ha.

How are u doing? i went for my pre-testing yesterday.see drs nurse friday.my surg. is a go July 22@ 7:30.

I went for my pre testing yesterday,go yo see the dr.s nurse friday, i went off plavix today doing 2 protein shakes, and one small meal a day, im sure the nurse will tell me liquids till surg. surg. is a go for 7:30-22nd. I can't wait, im all prepared. Keep in touch. Hope this back ache goes away. my phone # 701-5777.

my surg got changed to the 22nd, my dr put me on 1400 cal. and clear liquids 1 week before surg,so u will get yours before i do mine, what diet did they give you? i live 70 miles south of St. Louis,mo. I'm having surgery at Barnes in St. Louis. -

Do you think im too old im 68, I get to find out my surg date June 15, Im ready.

Im a little nervous about the pre-op diet, but I know i can do it, I won't know my Surgery Date untill June 15th, I can't wait to get it done, my health is getting me down, Diabetes, high b/p, sleep apnea,etc. Im 68 hope Im not to old. Wish me luck.:thumbup:
