Hey,i did go on the liquid diet 2wks before surgery..it was protein drinks that had to be purchased from my doctor's n they were very expensive!!! I lost 14pds,but my doc.knew i cheated because she said i shouldhave lost more....ha ha n she was right!! I did cheat,but not much....i still think i did good...

Gurl,thanks...because this band can be confusing!!! I'm soo worried about the diet stages...i dn't want to drink alot,but i know protein is a must!!! I'm glad to hear n time it will change..thanks so much for ur advice..u have a blessed week...gwen

Morning freda,gurl thanks soooo much for the advice...i was losing it!!!lol yeah,i have been moving around daily to work out the gas...this morning when i got up i noticed it wasn't as bad,but scared to drink because i love the way my stomach feels...i have been taking gas-x n that does help somewhat...i also took baking soda,but i stopped but that worked the best!!!(grandma's advice)....i'm going to take my time with the liquids soooo my stomach can heal slowly...i went to a cook-out yesterday n boi was i hard not to have a hot dog,chips,n watermelon!!! I did it!!! But it wasn't easy....well i'm off of work for 3wks n i'll be learning my new body....after your filled did u feel bloated again?? Morning fredricole,congrats on ur fill!! Hope all is good ur way...my surgery went well.(thank god)...but since i've been home i've been suffering..this gas is killin me!!! Do u have any suggestions...how long did u stay on the liquids?? Well i need to get up from here cause it's hard with this pain..i've been walking alot n bought some gas x and i'm still bloated...i can't wait to get over this phase..hope to hear from u some...have blessed sunday!!! Morning noel,yes the surgery went great!!! N i give god all the praises..however,i've been dealing with gas n it's killin me!!! Did u have this problem? It's been 4 days and i finally drank something...i got dehydrated n that's serious,but everytime i take a drink it hurts....do u have any suggestions? Today was the first day,that i was able to drink alot...pls help!!! N how long did u stay on liquids?? Have a blessed sunday and i hope to be hearing from u soon...thanks,ms.gwen

Welp,friends...my surgery went well!! Thank god,but i've been suffering since!!! This gas is killin me...n i don't want to drink it hurts soooo bad!!! Today was my 4th day and i could drink alot more...i had become dehydrated and i know that's not good...did anyone go through this,pls let me know u survived!!!

Keep up the awesome work!! I just got banded on the 9th...man,i'm having trouble tryin to drink my water and get my protein...did u have the same problem after ur surgery...
