i have been thinking about WLS since i was 17. i've been overweight my whole life and didn't realize how different i was from everyone else until i'd left for college. i never had issues with self-esteem or confidence so the weight wasn't an issue until i'd hit those "dating years" and realized how shallow society was. i have twin brothers who i am a quasi-parent to, and have since noticed what a limit my weight puts on activities i can enjoy doing with them. being banded on June 18, 2010. i can't wait!
