I initially was looking for a surgeon for two hernias and came across Dr. Coirin.  Most of my health problems over the past 2 years have been weight related (Hypertension, sleep apnea, knee and lower back pain, PCOS, shortness of breath, etc..) but my primary physician never suggested bariatric surgery.  After reviewing many web sites and attending a seminar on bariatric surgery I chose the lap band.  I am very excited about having surgery next month.  I have been told by others that have had it done that the first two months are the worst but I am willing to do what it takes to get my health issues under control and start living a healthier lifestyle.
