i started this journey in January 2010 after many years of watching the progress of lap-band surgery. I knew that after trying the too numerous diet plans, I had to make a drastic choice to reclaim my life. I am diabetic and recently placed on hypertension medication. I also knew that I was on the road to more health issues. Lap band surgery was a big step for me. I am now one week post surgery and quite honestly feel sometimes that I made the wrong decision, but I have my husband and other family members telling me to hang in there!
