Wow, I wonder how often it is rejected ? How long did it take them to come to this conclusion, I am having problems never getting to the green zone. Either I'm starving or I can't eat anything. They mentioned a revision and I have had 2 surgeries last year to fix complications; hiatal hernia and gallbladder. I can't do another unless there is a promise of relief. However I don't know if insurance will cover a revision. Did they cover yours?

I have been stuck at my acid reflux/indigestion number before and it's happening again. I have a 10cc band and every time we get to 5 the same happens to me. I had my band emptied in June 2012, a hiatal hernia repair for second time in Feb 2012... Symptoms came back in Sept 2012 and went to GI doctor. Had my gallbladder removed. All of a sudden I realized in November I'd gained 25lb back. I was unhappy, you feel like a failure. So I've been having it slowly refilled and last week when I hit 5, bam reflux again. I am having the same problem. Should I just suffer through it to finally lose my last 40-50 or go have another unfil? It's a personal decision I will have to consider but it is interesting to hear someone else has same problem.

I'm interested in 16/18 items.... Tops, dresses, office attire. Do you have any pics?

I agree do the research. I had a lot of complications so make sure you are informed and have a good support system if you decide to have it.

Once I got off the pain meds and walked things seemed to get better!

Also I usually go back to a day if liquids after throwing up, you can get very swollen and not even know it.

Sorry to hear! I find when I'm stressed I either don't want to eat or have trouble feeling tight. I had 2 relatives pass away just a few weeks after surgery it was tough. Now when I'm over stressed sometimes I'll do more shakes to get my protein and not worry About getting stuck. Good luck.

Have you eaten anything tough or spicy? Usually something OTC helps settle the gas.

Each journey starts with a step! Gotta get your mind back in the game and you can do it. Just think how differently we look at food now that before WLS...

Does insurance cover a conversion?

I had to have mine emptied twice. Had my hiatal hernia come back after it was fixed in surgery... Then 6 more months and a gazillion tests I had my gallbladder removed. I just now have 3cc in my band after a year. I've also gained 25+lbs back. It's frustrating and if I can't get past 5 without the reflux, vomiting, etc... They also asked me if I'd considered sleeve and at this time I'm not ready for that.
