Hello, My name is Melissa. I am in the process of doing everything I need to do to have the Lap Band done. My insurance has a lot of requirements! 1. I have to see a therapist! 2. I have to lose 25# and keep it off a YEAR!!! 3. I have to weigh in every 2 weeks with the nurse & send it in to my case manager! 4. I have to see the dietician 4 times, and the Dr during the year! This process is getting to me but my year finally started in july 2010! I have lost 10 pds. (7/24/201) 11 months left. So I hope to be banded in July of next year! CAN'T WAIT
