I don't have a lapband story.... yet.  Our group insurance has recently  changed to Aetna, who I understand does cover lap band surgery.  I am hoping to begin my journey this summer.  I have battled with my weight all my life and have tried just about every diet and plan that there is.  Lost a lot of weight always managing to gain it all back plus some.  My dad had lap band surgery 2 years ago and it was very successful.  I told myself I would watch and wait to see how his went and then decide weather I would try.  I am hoping some of you who have gone through this process with AETNA can give me pointers on how to get approved.Looking forward to hearing from you!! and excited for what the future could hold
