Hi there, ha, I just saw this, for some reason with the new set up I don't get messages about posts etc. I am going good, my weight loss is also slow, it's terrible. Ok now I see this message, I guess there is a difference between personal messages and visitor messages??? this is a visitor message, I see it when I come here- the personal message came to my email box. interesting, I have such trouble with this site. Kitties, maybe they are exercising too ha! I too have been hungry, but I still when I drink it goes away, but I have to drink often. tomorrow I get to start protein shakes, actually looking forward to it. then mmmm pureed soups. wow.

Howdy Missjoany, how's it going? I was thinking about some easier way for us to communicate and encourage about our work out goals etc. One Idea I had was to just start a thread called september bandster work out encouragement- I don't have any other ideas but am open. My complaint with the pm's is that it is a pain to talk to you and missjoany at the same time and it's sort of clunky- of course the site is clunky - anyway open for ideas
also how are you doing, have any good treadmill tales?

thanks zen, i'm now in band land, but i don;t feell any thing, maybe it's all th pain meds, so far so good, and pre band i lost 18 lbs which is unbelievable.

Hi there, you go girl, 6 minutes today 5 K tomorrow Yeah my knees are bad too, hoping losing weight and building muscle will help. You know there is some good instructions on the september bandster thread for the ticker, I feel like the maxi new york gave the most recent ones. I'm so lazy I haven't even gotten that together yet. anyway I'm at the hotel and tomorrow is my day, worried about all the pain I'm in store for.

ha is it like get people to sponsor money for however long you walk? that's awsome, and you could still walk even if you dont have many sponsors, it will keep you going. well I'm here in my hotel, tomorrow is the big day. I'll be walking a little slower tomorrow.
So how long is the fund raising walk?

so are you jogging on the treadmill? If I can get my walking faster I'd like to at least get up to 4miles / hour instead of 3. It's easier for me on the treadmil for some reason instead of outside - to go faster. but it's good to start at least, I"m also hoping to daily do like 15 minutes of stretching/ yoga- I do 1 hour class a week, but I feel like I should be doing it daily. The PM on this board, I have trouble figuring out, like it would be cool, since there are only 3 of us right now, to be able to reply to both of you. but I don't see how to do that? I have trouble figuring it all out here.

hi gals,hoorah for inspiration. so monday is my big day. so i am starting very slow. i don't have a treadmill, but at work i have access to one. anyway my challenge for myself by thanksgiving is to walk at least 7 miles per week, i'm at about 4 miles right now. right now i am doing about 3 miles/ hour, just ;out on my hilly ass road. so i walk like 1 mile/ day,

Hi there Zeniada, oh Aug 26 I thought you were doing Sept 26, that's my date/ well the 27. I'm from Ohio and flying in on the 26tth. How are you doing? I'm staying at the Mariott it's part of the package for OCC. You went to a different place right? I'd love to hear what you think so far about the band and your experience.
