The short and sweet version......Basically, I have been fighting the weight battle since my first-born child was born.  A constant battle of losing and gaining.  One day I woke up and decided that I didn't want to have to stress about the ups and downs every single day!  I made an appointment with my doctor, completed all of the necessary steps, and, Voila, I am banded.  I am bit scared and nervous at this point, because of the unknown, but very happy with my decision!
