I am back in the group, my lap band was a failure. I am going to have the gastric sleeve procedure. I would like to know how you decided on your Medical Tourism Group used for procedure outside the United States. I know the procedure and the surgeon I would like to use. I am finding it difficult to determine who would be the best group to utilize for this journey. The surgeon is affiliated with more than one group, so any advise, suggestions are welcome, questions to ask, details to be aware of, criteria for travel, etc.

I'm glad he is home, and it is a long road. I had a friend here in the states have it done, she had a leak, hospitalized twice, PICC and PEG feeding tube for months...probably don't want to share that part with your husband at this point I'm certain he is frustrated and hungry. He will see the benefit later down the road I hope! My friend is doing fabulous and enjoying activities and doing things she had never done before. What hospital in Tijuana did he have the procedure, and who was the surgeon. Have you spoke to the surgeon?

I was banded 2/2010, I have lost appx 25-30 lbs. Last Oct 2011 I had all the fluid taken out of my band because I was starting a new 12 week fitness challenge. I completed the callenge, did well, but since then I have gained weight! I have had a ton of personal stuff going on...my question is I know I have stretched my pouch out...do I go back and get a fill? Can I start over now that I have stretched it out or have I ruined it for myself?
