Hi Slinky fred replied said it takes time to recover did'nt seem worried. My 1st fill is with Dr Chris on 9th sept so im sure he'll check me out. Day 10 tmw cant wait having stiches out and cant start eating differant food yipee. I'm bk to work on monday so everything is getting back to normal. Do u know my ticker although it shows still not working properly i cant update it so am going to wait for 1 of my 10 year old nieces 2 come over andsort it. I've lost 12lb so happy to c the scale reducing instead of usual increase. take care x Good luck to all about to start on this wonderful jounery. fULLFAT hope this is not the case do u know anyone that has been with this company. Dr Chis should know about this and any company messing with patients money and booking shoul'nt b allowed 2 act as an agent.keep us posted. BB eating Pasta is in ECFS guidlines given by Dr Chris the most important thing is any food eaten should not swell in your stomach after. Fredrick advised 2 B careful re; Cereal and he gave the example of cornflakes swelling after milk has been put on them. :blushing: Slinky i cant believe it - I 2 am just 2 scared to do anything that would damage the band or make me feel ill. Hi Kerry The night b4 i left Belgium I spoke with Fredrick he told me the mistake many of us make is taking the easy opition which dont always give us the right nutriants. Once able to eat lean mince and veg soft fruit very soft Pasta. Im sure its easier said than done but i've promised myself to be organised so i eat the right foods. My daughter said when i cook the food i need to eat cook more and freeze some so 4 thedays when i dont feel like cooking its there hope this helps x

Good luck to all those about to go will b thinking of u. Slinky I got holland & Barretts own 90% soya protien wouldnt recomend it i will struggle to drink it andhave now started to mix it. I hav'nt touched my wounds to scared waiting 4 DR 2 do it all on Frid. Although i feel fine still very uncomfortable bending and now hate driving makes me feel like i could pop lol. On the way home K couldnt stop talking she showed and told airline staff of OP and they turned her back after more talking and then they searched them. We she told me i said the less said K the better lol how r u feeling where do i copy my ticker into

Im eating soup all differnt types lots of water slimfast shakes the odd hot choc. Slinky why did u have the blue stich out i thought it was all after 10 days mine come out on Fri. The dressings r really starting to irritate i keep itching after the stiches will the dressing go to. I bought a protine drink yest disgusting lol also have not been 2 the loo yet:tongue_smilie:

good luck fullfat if your going with Dr Chris he is really good the hospital is a good one and the staff were friendly im recovering well surprised i feel this good after only 6 days keep posting :rolleyes2:

Slinky the sexy socks r off! had a shower yest no-one was at home to help me get them back on so lol feeling even better today but trouble spots r bending and driving still very uncomfortable. Thought i'd call Julie on Monday to bood myfirst fill. Have had lots of water, soup, juice the odd hot choc and can you believe it i eat a yogurt lol had to strain it 1st. Almost stopped pain killers only had 1 yest and today. when r u taking stiches out

MumBB congrats =my recovery is going really well sure yours will be the same. have had lots sleep and everyone at home islooking after me :rolleyes2:. Slinky hows it going glad to hear the drive was oki was worried aboutu, its 1 of the things i hate driving back from a-port was bad i could feel the weight of swelling and stiches really painful Chris/Fred were right i am feeling better each day. went 2 my GP on Friday really supportive is taking stiches out on Friday looking 4ward the end of 10 days. Not hungry coping well with fluids x

Hi badsters and pre-bandsters Im back and made it through the op without any problems. My OP was on 27 with Dr Chris who was great. I want to add this is not an easy option. The OP's were delayed so much anxiety during the morning. After the OP i had a coughing fit really horrid there was nothing that could be done just had t o wait 4 it go. This was due to the tube that gets put down your throat during surgery. I slept most of the time - the next day after drinking the liquid for xray I was sick and it really hurt. Then I got diareah and have still got it today Thurs. I dont think the pain is too bad but I feel really uncomfortable the drive back from the airport was horrid bumby which really hurt. It feels like wind is trying to come up but cant this is painful but only last for a few seconds. Generaly Im well meet some others including slinky she was really funny and kept us smiling. Also meet Chris as I was going he was comming good luck. xxx

HI ALL This is my last post b4 I go. I'm flying out at tommow and will be meeting up with slinky. Im really nervous have been ok up untill now but my heart is pumping lol. sherxxx
