I too have been struggling with weight loss my entire life. I had BCBS the first time I tried to get approved for the lab band and they denied me because I didn?t have the health problems now, I have Cigna and do have the health problems and it took me 5 days to get approved for surgery. I recommend calling your insurance company and finding out exactly what you need to do in order to get approved. The process is some what of a long one but I know that in the end it will be so worth it. Do you have any other health problems?
