I am having hunger pangs that feel the same as "very full" pains. I can hardly get enough shakes in me to meet my Protein goal. I am just finishing up my first week on all liquids. Next week will be pureed foods. Are these pains normal? Is anyone else feeling this?

Sounds like nothing but jealousy to me. Sorry to hear. Maybe if you hang in there, she will follow your example and get control of her health as well. Hopefully her love for you will overcome her jealous feelings. Hang in there. If you lose her friendship, just remember it was her choice not yours. You'll make more friends. After weightloss many people say how much more outgoing and approachable they become.

I had a c-section and my doc was going to do my surgery as soon as he could. I first saw him 6 months post c-section. I'm sure it just depends on the doc. Sorry I can't answer the question about the insurance company, but I do however know that all the things you have to complete before surgery are good for one year. At my doc's anyway.

ALL THE ABOVE! One thing no one else wrote, which my mom laughs about when I say it. I can't wait to be able to wrap a regular sized towel around me when I get out of the shower.....lol

Over eating is not what makes a baby grow healthy. Vitamins and proper nurtician does. These can be acheived while banded. Doctors say not to get pregnant for at lease one year post surgery. I'm not a doc, but have studied a lot on the net and many women have become prego whithin weeks post surgery and had healthy babies with now pregnancie complications. I'm sure you will get a post from someone who has experienced this. I had my first at 32, I am more worried about my agen than the band. I know without a doubt, I can consume the proper nurtrician to have a healthy pregnancy. The first few weeks is iffy....lol I can't fit three shakes down in one day.

I agree. I believe it all boils down to the immigration issue. Many are here because they gave birht on American soil. These babies are being raised by parents who did not work to get here. They aren't patriotic. I know may hispanics whos ancestors erned their way here going throught the proper chanels. They are proud Americans and are often very resentful against the sneaky ones.

Mine was a frull three months. Four appointments. The first reply to the post made me laugh too. My dietician was very thin and a vegetarian and always looked at me funny when I told her my food preference. Meat and Potatoes gal! I thought it would be better if they had someone a little more understanding, but she was very sweet. The three month diet was difficult for me, becase it is a diet we've all done over and over. It was hard without the help of my new tool. Good luck!
