Hello everyone, I had my 3rd fill last wednesday. I went from 2cc up to 3cc in a 9.75 band. That night it was horrible, I couldn't eat or drink anything. I woke up several times during the night choking on my saliva. I immediately went back to the doctor the next day because I had lost 8 pounds overnight. He took out .5cc and left me at 2.5. I was told to stay on ice chips over the weekend and see how it went. By Monday I was able to drink only 2 16 ounce bottles of water the whole day and could still not eat anything (not that I even wanted anything). Today I was still only able to sip at liquids so I went back and he unfilled me completely and said to give it about a month and let things calm down. Of course when he did the unfill I was finally able to drink with no problems. Oh forgot to mention I had lost 13 pounds in one week. My question is when you are at your "sweet spot" are you able to drink liquids fairly easily or do you have trouble getting them down? I understand about solids, but I am wondering if I should have left the fill alone and maybe that's the way it is suppose to be. Can someone who has found their "sweet spot" please explain to me about drinking liquids? Do you have to sip, does it hurt to drink more than two sips, can you drink more than 32 oz of water a day? Thanks for all the help.
