I decided to make the hardest decision in my life by having the Lap Band procedure. I inquired with my DR. December 09. I got the okay from my insurance mid January 2010. My 1st Dr. appointment with my gastric surgeon was on March 2, 2010. My Lap Band surgery was on May 12, 2010. I decided to go thru with it for my health and to see my children and grandchildren grow up. I'm happy with my decision and have a long journey ahead of me.
