Had my lapband in 2/2010 and never looked back!!!! Best thing I could have ever done for myself!!! [ATTACH]26656[/ATTACH]

Since I've had the lapband in Feb 2011 I have lost a total of 64 pounds ( I had a baby 2 months ago and already lost all baby weight plus 10 pounds more ) my bmi was a 42 Now it is 29!!! I wear any sizes between 11-13 but I still feel fat.. Does anyone feel like me or am I crazy!!

I had my surgery on 2-10-11 !!! Were all kind of going thru the same things !! the gas is better today but still there and I cant wait to start on mushies! I dont how much longer I can stand broth !! I have three incisions, how many do u guys have? I go to my docor on wednesday so ill find out how much I weigh.. Im sooo happy to find all u guys, it makes this journey so much better to go thru!!

Im sooooo super excited and nervous at the same time!! On Feb 10th I will be banded finally finally!!! I wake up in the middle of the night in a panic, i just want the surgery to be over with and me to be fine!! Im worried about being put under, it scares me sooooo much!!! sometimes I dream of how I will look, and I cant imangin it !!! is this really happening??? YES YES YES it is !!! Maybe in july i can go to the beach and wear a bathing suit !! hahahah LAP BAND TALK has really helped me,the support from u all is amazing!!! and when i think i am making a bad mistake, I look at alll ur pictures and it really helps !!! LOVE YOU ALLLLLL

Meee toooo!!!! I just found out today Ive been approved!!! My surgery day is also Feb 10th !!!! Im soooo excited and happy and nurvous allll at the same time!!! Back in july i was denied because of a bmi weight in 2008!! My mom had the surgery done in july and looks and feels amazing!!! I just cant wait finally a new me, finally!!!! Keep in touch!!!!

Today is the most happiest day of my life!! Six months ago i was denied for the lap band surgery cause my BMI in 2008 was not over 40. I was sooooo upset and disapointed !! Changing my insurance to BCBS and the new year 2011 BMI got me approved today!!! Today is the start of my new life, I want to live for my kids and be able to run and go to the beach without worrying about my fat rolls!! Ive been heavy my whole life, teassed in school and not wantin to go out beause having nothing to wear. My prayers have been answered.... soon i will be thin, healthy and beautiful !! Im soooooo happy

So I got denied the first time because my insurance company AETNA needed 3 weights for 3 yrs and in 2008 my bmi was less then 40!!! so I gave my docs weights for 2005 and 2006 and prayed to get approved but once again I got denied!!!! so my question is.... is is possibly to put it in the 3rd time cause now I found a weight that was high in 2008!!! or after 2 trys do they drop ur case??? if anyone knows plzs let me know im driving myself crazy!!!!

My docs put in everythin on wednesday again... i dieing here i need to know if i got approved.. its killing me... I just soo worried its gonna get deined again!!!

Ok soo I checked and yes it was in april 2008... but april 09/ to april 2010 is only 1 yr not 2... omg im sooo confused!!!! Help I also gave them weights in 2005 and 2006 do u think that will help???

Hi, yes my BMI in 2008 was lower then 40 and I think I went to the doc in april/08... I will have to look.. thanks
