be a healthier me

I'm 31 and have been obese my whole life, the whole family is. The family is all overweight and unhealthy. We consist of diabetics, high blood pressure and the many problems that follow. I have two beautiful girls and asked myself if giving them the health problems and socila difficulties is fair to them? Well, it's not. It's just the opposite, it's selfish. The light went off and on my way to reasearch the best surgery for me. I decided on the band. My journey began and so did the dietician visits, the doctor appointments, the shrink checkups, classes, and the highlight was meeting my surgeon and his team(whom I cannot say enough good things about). I started cooking better for me and my girls, shopping wiser and ultimately lost 32 pounds and curved my kids unhealthy behavior. Now I'm here and ready to go! 3days till surgery and excited and nervous at the same time. Which brings me here to talk about it.
