    Anyone on here over 60 years old besides me?

    I will see the surgeon Aug .3 I will also see the nutritious & psychologist the same day.If I pass everything they will let me know when I'll have the surgery.Let me know how things are with you. Becky:tongue2:

    I am 71yrs young. I do not have a date yet.Go for my 6mo. check withmy pcp ,then I will see the LAP-BAND® Dr. I just hope medicare will cover this:drool:
  6. I live in Durham an will be have Dr. Pryer as my Dr. I have seen my PCP 4 times. I also have Cigna Medicare. We have a lot in common, Becky38

  7. I was on insulin injection for 15 years, CPAP for 10. Not now. Oral diabetic meds, no insulin, no CPAP.

    Hi, is their any hope for a71yr.old granny. I had a lung transplant 9 yr.ago,did great. I also have sleep apna,diabiates,high blood pressure,I think thats all. My transplant Dr,&my PCP DR.think it's fine.

    At age 71 do you think I'm tooo old have lap band surgery. My chjldren think I am. I have high blood presure,diabetes, sleep apnea, had a double lung transplant 9yrs.ago. I do go exxercise three times a week at our wellness center and I'm in good health.I think Medicare and my other will pay,I do need to see my PCP for 6mo.
