You guys are great. And thanks for the recipe ! It looks delicious. It's funny. I can't ever imagine not wanting McDonalds. My parents used it as positive reinforcement when I was a kid, so I have all these good memories tied to the place. I'm working that out in the therapy. Reading these posts has really helped. It just makes me feel like I'm not alone. I don't know what I would do without this site !

Well, I was banded on Nov. 3 and I'll be completely honest - I'm hungry. But I'm managing. I think everybody is different.

Hey there. I had my surgery on Nov. 3, and had horrible gas pain in the shoulder, too. It's gone away and I really think the exercising and walking did it. Keeping busy helped me, too. When I went back to work (went back four days after surgery), I really didn't notice the pain at all. It was like I forgot it was there. It will get better. Hang in there.

Hey there. I am so sorry you aren't getting the support you need. In my case, my husband, best friend and other family members were very suspicious of the whole procedure. I went about it my own way. I did a lot of research (my first stop was this site), and I eventually presented the information to them. My DH and others have completely changed their mind about the operation. But some of my friends still aren't supportive. TOO BAD. I didn't say it like that, but I said something to the effect of, "I think it's nice that you're so concerned about me, but I know deep in my heart this is the right decision for me." Because I honestly think they were just concerned for my welfare. But you have to do what's best for you. Best of luck.

Hey guys ! Thanks so much. This has made me feel soooo much better. The good thing is that I have lost 11 pounds. Yeah !!! So I keep reminding myself of that. But I can't wait for the day I can have some refried Beans But I think I'll be good until then. A lot of it has to do with you guys !
