Hi, i'll be your band buddy, i just had my consultation on the 2nd, and they are looking to do my surgery in August... i have made all my doctors appointments, except for the dietician, she hasnt got back to me yet... i am hoping this journey to surgery will go by quick, i don't want to have to wait 6 months to get it done, i might get discourage...

Thank you, im just trying to see how long i would probably have to wait til i get the surgery done. I know every state is different so im just gonna see what everybody had gone through.. Thanx again.

:smile:is there any one here that is using medicaid, if u can tell me what are the requirements for to be approved for the lapband surgery?

Hi, my name is Koren, and i am seriously considering getting a lap band, i have been dieting for as long as i can remember. I think my biggest problem will be getting the support i need from my family. I think they are afraid of surgeries, but i am not. Not if it is going to help me in the long run. i know all the complications that come along with it. When i go see my pcp i am going to tell that i want to get the lapband. i am so glad i found this forum for which i can vent with you guys. how is everyone doing so far and what are you stats...:thumbup:
