Hi my name is Crystal i am 20 and live in the great state of texas...a few years back i met my husband and as we all know got very comfortable and ended up gaining about 60 lbs all together in about 2 years time...now i know what your saying thats no excuse but i had really let myself go. Everytime i said i hated how i gained so much weight and that i feel ugly the hubby would say "i love every bit of it". It didnt make me feel better but i just ended up not saying anything. well about a year ago i met this girl at work and she was telling me how she had the lapband that january and she was my size well in august she looked good. i thought about getting it at first and i decided not to because, i didnt think i needed it well it got to me when me and my husband started stressing over having a baby and everyone around us was having one, so i went to the doctor and found out i had PCOS....well that kinda scared me so me and my husband sat down did some research and decided to go for it. so went and put my referral in got accepteds and now my surgury is in july 2010 not sure which date yet. I had tried everything low carb diets diabetic diets, husband lost weight which was good due to almost getting kicked out of the military for being over weight but none of it worked for me. im a little nervous.... any suggestions... and if i get pregnant during the time i have the lapband whats gonna happen.
