I am in too.

I am 5foot 7 inches and started at 262 I had surgery may 25, 2010. People started noticing around 20 or so pounds. Now that I am down 78 pounds they keep telling me I can stop. I have 14 left to my doctors goal and 24 to my personal goal. Hang in there once the comments start coming you willb probably hear it everyday. It really helps with motivation. Awesome job so far!

Hello everyone. I was banded may 25, 2010 and I am down 76 pounds with only 17 to go to goal. I love this band. I have been really watching my meal portions and getting in the protein. I have 6.75cc in my 10cc band and I am in the green zone. I have been lucky to get away with not exercising too. I am glad tob see so many doing great and I am sorry to hear others are having a hard time. I can try and help if I can. Good luck continuing on your journeys.

I was banded in May and that is how I feel after eating. My lower stomach still feels empty after I am done eating but I am not hungry. It is so hard to get used the not feeling full anymore. I know I have to stop eating when my nose runs or I will be in pain.

It only took me 2 months from seminar to all pre-op appointments and then surgery May 25, 2010. I had a bmi over 40 with documented high blood pressure so my insurance approved it quickly.

Well I hit my challenge goal of minus 9 pounds. So any weight lost the last two weeks of this challenge are bonus. Yay! This is fun watching everyone lose weight!

I have to agree. It is bad enough when you are already feeling down. Don't let your doctor mistreat you in any way. I would find a new doctor that will encourage you through the ups and downs. You are not married to your doctor, you don't have to leave his office in tears. Good luck. I hope you get the encouragement you need and a fill that will get you back on track. I have an awesome surgical team and I am lucky for that. I am down another 8 pounds since I first posted this. I have 30 more to lose. I think I hit my green zone now too. I have been really stressed this week and can feel my band getting tight. Good luck to all of you and congratulations on all of your wonderful losses!

I have been banded since May 25, 2010 and lost 64 lbs so far. I have had 3 fills and each fill has helped so much as far as controlling hunger and continuing weight loss. But this last fill has caused me to really slow down on the scale moving. I am not eating very much, about a cup at lunch and dinner and I have a protein drink for breakfast. I haven't been very hungry and I can go 4 hours or more between meals. I have never been stuck or pb'd. So I don't know if I should get my next fill on Thursday or stay where I am for now. Should I increase my calories? I walk 2-5 miles every other day and I walk all day at work so I don't know if I need to increase my exercise. What would you do? Thanks.

I started losing again thank goodness. And saw my doctor today. She thinks I am close to the green zone. But she still put in .5cc to help with my bigger dinners. I hope this is the one. I did lose ten pounds this month.

Thanks Mimilou. I am going to see how the next couple days go. But I think you may be right about not getting too tight. I dont want to cause problems that can be avoided. I guess I will see what the doctor says too. Maybe a tiny fill? It seems so hard to decide what's best.

I too bought clothes at H&M, brought them home and the larges are too big. I also fit in the junior size jeans. I can fit into my old favorite pair of Tommy Hilfiger pants. I was able to walk 5 miles and I wasn't even that tired. Being able to leave food on my plate. I love my band! I forgot to add my rings had to be resized down a whole size. :thumbup:

I totally would! I love my lapband! I had surgery May 25, 2010 and down 63 lbs with 38 to go to goal. I am so much healthier and confident about myself. I am doing more things with my kids. My depression is so much better and I am not obsessing about food. I pray every day that I will always have this wonderful band.

I am getting banded Tuesday (the 25th). Not looking forward to that gas or port pain you are all talking about. I am on day 5 of my liquid protein pre-op diet and starving. I can't wait to get to the solid food stage.
