    You can find clear Protein drinks...GNC sells them they dont taste really great but they are clear.
  4. So it's been what 5 months now and I am down 25lbs that i wouldnt have been able to lose with out the band! It's slow going, wish I would lose faster but am grateful for whatever I can lose at this point. I had a unfill back in Dec but I think I may need a slight fill next month when I get some money to pay for it...I notice that I am eating a lot but I get stuck often so I dont know if a fill is a wise thing to do right now. Well that's all I have to report Good Job August Rushers....
  5. I love my little Gerber fork it helps me not eat so fast and take smaller bites that way it dont get stuck...
  6. I really want to add pictures to some of my posts but cant seem to figure out how to do it...I know there is a picture tool but it looks like you can only add from web sites not from your computer so how do we do it? It has to be possible I've seen others do it...Please help.
  7. I dont know why people consider salad a slider food...It keeps me full for hours....but then I only use good lettuce not iceburg i use a lot of different kinds of Beans I add chicken and egg, tomato, carrots, avacado....so for me it's not a slider and i never get stuck on salad...

  11. If you eat slow and chew well you shouldnt get stuck..That said I should take my own advice... I usually eat: Breakfast: 1 cup oatmeal with milk and fruit mixed in. Snack: carrot sticks or yogurt or Protein shake Lunch: chicken salad Snack: small bag of baked chips or popcorn or Protein Shake Dinner: 4 oz of meat with either a salad or 1/2 cup steamed veggies and 1/4 cup starch if I'm still hungry Snack: cup of coffee and toast if I'm hungry I have not been able to eat rice, Pasta or soft bread with out getting stuck and throwing up so I would be careful of those if I were you. I eat a lot of fish, shrimp and grilled chicken strips I put on my salad. I have a hard time with baked chicken, have yet to try steak and pork. Oh and eggs are a pain as well so I limit those. I will have a protein shake when I feel hungry but not so much anymore. Good Luck.

  18. I love dressing but have really been good with moderating my dressing protion 1-2 tablespoons...Dressing goes along way if you just dip.
  19. What Gallery? Who's Gallery? My Gallery? I have a Gallery? Where is the Gallery...There is a Gallery on the top of the page but it shows other peoples stuff...is that what I need to upload too?

    Discouraged...

    Life sucked the first 8 weeks after my surgery. I was hungry all the time, I could eat and eat and eat...but then I got a fill and it was a little better, then I got another fill and it was too much and I suffered for 1 month with getting stuck and throwing up at every meal, so I got an unfill and now I am to the point where I can eat till I'm satisfied...the weight is coming off slowly and that is a little frustrating but the point is it's coming off. I stopped comparing myself to others that were banded around the same time I was and just live for the day.. I plan my meals every day try to drink my Water and walk. Basically it took almost 5 mos to get to the point where I am semi-satisfied with my fill level even though I may need a little put it when I get the extra money.

  22. I have been yo-yoing for the past 2 mos with the same 1-2lbs...I cant break out of the 250's. I go form 253 to 252 but nothing less then that...I have started walking everyday and have felt my clothes get bigger but no scale action...Please advise

    Wight is YO-YOing...

    HEY actually lost .4 oz and am down to 251.6...watch it go back to 253 tomorrow...I gotta throw out my scale...
