Steady losers ;-)

bman- you seriously have to be the strongest, most self respecting woman i know! You amaze me with your will power. I don't know how many other woman would be able to do the same. Your right, you are worth more than that. I'm so proud of you. Doing the right thing will pay off eventually. claud- so sorry about the job. My heart is breaking for you. I know you were so excited. Maybe you need to be in Cali for some reason. Maybe to be with your dad. I don't know. Just trying to figure out why life isn't fair for you right now. I'm home from Rome! It was amazing. I loved every minute of it. We had the best time. The weather was perfect, not hot, but not too cold and the sun was shining! I haven't seen the sun since I went to Spain. I'll do more personals later. my hubby is demanding the computer to do his homework, as if it's more important than my forum.

Steady losers ;-)

so today i'm wearing my brand new size 11 jeans. they are a bit snug, but after I get back from Italy I'm going to crack down low carbing it again. 10lbs and these pants would be getting big. 20 and i'll be in a 9! size 7 here I come! maybe 40 more lbs and i'll be there? steph-I know exactly what pain you are referring too. Today i ate steamed fresh green beans for bkfast and had that pain for about 5 hrs. If only i thought to gag myself! Sometimes if my pants are tight and I just ate and I bend over i'll throw up a bit in my mouth. gross!! Thanks for the good wishes for my trip. I'm getting nervous now. WE are leaving in about 8 hrs. I'm nervous leaving my kids. it's not our first trip without them, but we always miss them so much. In April we are taking a big family trip around Greece. A 7 night cruise. I think that will be the end of our traveling for a while. WE need to save a little money before we leave here and of course i still want a TT. Ok, what is everyones opinion on this? I want a TT so badly. I'm 25 and have 2 kids, 5 and 2. My husband wants a few more kids so badly. I'm undecided on that. I will probably want one eventually maybe in a few years have another set of two. I'm very unsure. But I want that TT this year. Should i go for it? Even though I could ruin it in a few year? I mean with the band I have a good chance of keeping this weight off and my tummy has so much extra skin just hanging. Even if I got preggo again, but didn't gain 100lbs would it completely ruin the tuck? I really want one.

if guliani did lead then it wouldn't be the end of the world he has some great qualities as well, but I'm hoping for romney to lead. I'd vote Gulliani.

splints are doing better, the left one only hurts now. I shouldn't of gone around in my stiletto boots this entire weekend! i haven't run since Friday. I'll try to run tomorrow but we are leaving tomorrow night for Rome so i have a ton to do! Thanks for thinking of me everyone! Steph- I love christmas decor too. i can't wait to have my own house again with 110voltage that I can decorate. Here, i just put up my tree and a few other things, nothing spectacular. Your's sounds beautiful. Oh and congrats on the one year bandiversary! Brandi- woohoo on that lb gone! Thats a lb of fat from somewhere.
6. i think you misunderstand me. If you get pregnant while married, chances are far better that you'll be able to or want to take responsibility in one way or another. Possibly adoption if need be. The reason i don't throw men in there is because this debate is about the woman's right to choose. Believe me, I don't think men should get off scott free. Afterall, it is their penis that got us into this mess! Men are a whole seperate issue. Biblically speaking sex was reserved to be between a man and a woman within the bonds of marriage. I know not everyone cares about that, and I really don't mind. As long as no one is getting killed over it. Maybe God designed marriage that way for this reason. Its very hard for a woman to raise children alone, I know my mom was a single mom since I was 2. I also understand there may be some extreme cases where abortion would be necessary. Only extreme cases. But the everyday young girl who made a mistake and wants to get rid of it, no, that is not right. It shouldn't be an option for her either. There is nothing wrong with giving your baby up for adoption.

Romney 2008? What do you think

you know that is the one thing that bothers me about him. I wish I knew how he came upon that thought process. Especially being in a Religion which is against it. Maybe he simply made a bad decision at the time, or maybe it helped his political campaign. Believe me i've struggled with this. He's not perfect, that is for sure, but has many of the values I'm looking for in a leader. I just hope that if he gets elected he won't change his mind once again. People do change over time, maybe he did. My own opinions are much different than when I was 20.
8.

thats just so sad. Which just enforces my point about teaching our children the importance of taking responsibility for their choices.
Whatever can be done? I can't see any other choice right now other than government stepping in. When i vote, just can't vote for a candidate who is ok with this. Even when their other policies are great.
It's amazing how ones conscience can be supressed.

Romney 2008? What do you think

thanks! i'll watch
10. yes I agree. My intent is not to impose my beliefs on anyone, it's to protect their fetus, baby or unborn child. Why is there a certain time where the baby suddenly has value? Is it any less a person yesterday than it is today? The baby has value when you exercised your freedom of choice and chose to have sex and made a baby. Why is it ok in only this instance to take that babies life? I don't see this as a valid choice to make. It shouldn't be an option at all. Of course these statements are not directed at you gadget lady.
11. thank you, so there is really no scientific argument about when the baby is a baby. it's just whatever makes the procedure seem more acceptable? Interesting. I think the pro-choice argument could be used correctly in so many other circumstances, like wearing your seatbelt. If you choose to increase your chances of death behind the wheel, then why does the government get to step in on that one? But not killing an unborn child because you created it at an inconvenient time in your life. That's not right by any standards.

Romney 2008? What do you think

because we live in Germany right now i missed his Thursday night speech, about his religion. did you catch that? I really wanted to see that. It seems like he lives what he preaches. He has been married for many years, over 35 i think. I can't remember exactly. I think that he could set a good example for what this country was founded on and stands for. He also believes in a strong military, and being a military spouse i can't argue with that.
13. I think it would be a good thing to educate these girls who are going into the clinic to make their "choice" to rid themselves of this responsibility that they most likely put upon themselves. Maybe if they had to watch a video or read something that showed them what their baby looks like at the point in their pregnancy and what the procedure entails, what happens to the fetus or baby, and then let them make their "choice". In no other circumstance is it ok, to take the life of a "fetus" or baby. If someone other than the mother makes that choice then it's considered a baby and murder. am i wrong? I can't believe that all the woman making this choice fully understand what they have done, what they created. It's not right to let them make such a choice without understanding it.
14. that is why I think that there should be more education on when the baby is formed. Long before 8 or 12 weeks the babies heart is beating. Why is there such a difference in opinion in that matter? Is it so murder can be justified? I honestly do not care if people believe as I do. Most don't infact. I am tolerant of others beliefs, and wish that there were a better option for these woman and babies. I don't care what religion, color or what beliefs people have. I really don't. So why do you think the baby is a fetus rather than a baby?

Game: What Color is Oprah Today?

I was just asking my husband today what he thinks of that! I wonder if she is for obama only because he is black or if she really likes his policies?
16. good argument there. Under many circumstances I completely agree. I'm not a fan of "big" government either. However, from the pro-life point of view, this is murder and is illegal under any other circumstance. Why should it be ok here? I don't think there is a win win answer here. Either way, pro choice or pro-life someone has to sacrifice. Since the adults probably made the choices to get pregnant, then they should probably be the ones to sacrifice. (of course I am aware that there are times when the woman did not choose to have sex) It's just too bad that the government needs to step in and protect these children. It's too bad that there isn't more education on what abortion is really doing, or more public knowledge on the how the baby is forming. Until I was pregnant myself, I didn't realize how early in my pregnancy the baby had a heart beat and was a baby. It was just never talked about and i didn't find it important to know until I wanted a baby myself. If I had gotten pregnant in high school I may have been easily persuaded into abortion because I was not educated on what it really meant. I love Mitt Romeny's recent speeches about families. It starts with good values taught in the home. If girls were taught to value themselves more and to save themselves for marriage then maybe this wouldn't be such an issue. If we start at home with our children, taking responsibility for them, raising them to respect themselves and others, to work, to be civil, treat them as our most precious treasure, just teaching them values. Then maybe in a few generations we will live in a much different place. Where girls respect their bodies, and men and woman alike take responsibility for their own actions. It's too bad that the government stepping in and making abortion illegal is the only way known right now to stop this awful awful practice then so be it. For now. At this point, is there a better way?

Big Ol' Hairy Religion vs. Athiest Debate

here is a similar quote: "I rather of lived my life as if it were true, only to find out that it is not, than to have lived my life as if it wasn't true, only to find out that it is." at different points in my life i have thought of that quote. it helps me stay focused on my end goal.
