travelgirl- sorry for the fill pain! That sounds awful. No I'm not sure on how to ease it. Sorry. It may just have to heal on its own. You could ice it i guess.

I am having the same type issues too! I go out to eat with friends and the waitress goes around the table asking, and comes to me and I say, nothing for me thank you. Everyone looks at me strange, people offer to pay for my drink! As if I'm being cheap. Yes I am cheap, but that's not the reason! So then the waitress offers me a free soft drink. NO thanks, I don't drink when I eat. Are you sure? yup, I'm pretty sure, I know i'm weird. It always just ends up being a 5 min. issue to say no thanks to a drink! At american resteraunts I order Water just to shut them up because it's free. Here in Europe water cost an arm and a leg! Up to $4 for a glass of water! no ice. So I refuse to purchase that to make everyone happy. Man, sometimes i just want to put a sign on my forehead. I DO NOT DRINK WITH MY MEALS, YES I AM WEIRD, BUT I WILL NOT BE ORDERING A DRINK TODAY! But if you want to bring me a free appetizer than so be it!

whosya! I am right there with you! Today I also ran 35 mins and walked 5. I ran 3.20 miles. So i ran the 3 and walked the 2.0. I officially run 5Ks. Yup, I'm a runner. I only hope to get the "runner's nod" like you! Kay- yeah, tell me how that book is, I am interested. I don't know if i will ever be an outdoor runner. I have now injured my knee somehow. I noticed it hurting in Rome, we walked and walked and walked some more, and it went away over christmas and now today it started bothering me again. it's on the outside of it, almost feels as if something is catching in there. I hope I don't have a torn maniscus(sp?). My husband has that in both knees, and has had one clipped so far and needs the other done, and it's a very painful recovery. LA- Thats a great idea to double up. In the first few weeks you may surprise yourself and not need to double up. That's awsome that you signed up for the 5k! Wombat- I do do leg exercises the same day that I run. I do get injured a lot it seems so I'm not sure if it's good to work out your legs after running. I have a problem with shin splints a lot and now my right knee is killing me.

I'm here ladies! I will never lose you! What would I do?

Happy Bithday Brandi!! This will be your best year yet! I'm happy that the conversations with Marine are great! Good for you. I hope you get to see him sometime soon. have fun in class Brandy. steph- I feel the exact same way about the middle numbers. 181, does nothing for me, but 179 I will celebrate! Now in the back of my head i'll alwasy feel like I am not really there because the dr. scale says differently. Oh well. what's a few lbs.
-
kaydot- are you on your period? my weight jumped up 5lbs for a few days when I had mine! way to go on the couch to 5k you'll feel great when you finish. I now love to run. my car is finally fixed! I had no car for 6weeks. I never though Id be so happy to see my minivan. love it. I went to the "girl" dr. the other day. uggh. i hate doing that. and their scale has me 5lbs heavier than mine! Im not changing my ticker. I've been using my scale since I started so there. I almost cried though. bad bad day that day.
-
mine is always getting red inside, it doesn't bleed but it's from the loose skin on my tummy I think. my belly button doesn't get any air! Maybe I'll tell the dr. next time.
-
yes, I change my battery once a week too! I'll try lithium. I have a battery charger and recharchables, but it's 110v and I need a 220v. I have to say that I love this bug. Never before have I tracked my calories so consistently for almost a month! I usually give up after a few days. This thing was worth every penny. Man I may have been able to lose without the band! but of course I'm glad I paid thousands for that too.
-
yes I love it. I will probably keep up with it forever! losingjus inspired me to want to run in a marathon.
-
do you wear a bodybugg in it? $500 what a great deal! we will be back in America next august. Maybe we'll get one then. I would love to have one.
-
20000 steps! woah! do you walk all day long. I struggle to get to 10,000! I had my first coaching session yesterday. the coach was nice. I didn't learn anything new though. I'd played with the sight so much that I figured it all out already. I'm going to have another session in 30 days.
-
whosya- glad to see that I'm not hte only one who can't run 6.0 the entire 30 mins. I want to though. But the longer I run the more calories I burn, the faster I run makes a difference but not as much as running longer. so i'm not too worried about it. losing jus-welcome back. congrats on the 4.5!
-
jill-yes the Bodybugg makes all the difference! it keeps my butt on track.. I've lost 6lbs in 3 weeks. so a safe 2lbs a week. I'm loving it. I'm still running. finished couch to 5k, so I can run 35 minutes without stopping about 2.5 miles and I walk the other half mile with the warm up and cool down. I think these next few months with running and body bugg will really make all the difference. steph-thanks for posting that! I'm sure my sis and friends are totally sick of hearing about my weight loss. I too email pics and am obsessed with myspace pics! geesh. I never looked at in that light. thanks. I'm going to be more careful now. brandy- I totally noticed you got to goal! I posted on your thread. Congrats to you!! I got this cute dress from Target.com it's 15.99 I think you'd like. how to explain... it's black, cap sleeve the chest crosses over, almost like a wrap. it is tighter from the top to the waist and then flairs out, it is just above knee length. Very much like those rockabilly dresses you posted, but a little more conservative with the sleeves. It is way cute. They are on clearance. Nikki- you are a weightloss machine man! preggo and still losing. woahh!
-
I finally got back to my running! I finished couch to 5K now i'm not exactly running 5k in 30 minutes, more like 2.58miles in 35 minutes, but i hadn't run in a month. So i was pleasantly surprised that I could still go that long without stopping. I can't wait to go again on wednesday!

200 celcius is like over 400 degrees! You are not roasting a turkey! lol. I wouldn't worry about it.

Where are you losing your weight?
sweethot143 replied to zippykat's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
my boobs shrunk yeahh. but my arms and legs are not shrinking! what's up with that? -
I ran today and holy crap! I burned 14.5 calories a minute! wow. I ran 35 minutes almost 3 miles. I think running days mon. wed. and fri. are really going to help boost that deficit. I started running with the couch to 5k program a few months ago and haven't run a month! so i was pleasantly surprised that I could still run a good distance without stopping. today is my first coaching session.

JulieNYC's medial thigh lift, breast augmentation and mons lift
sweethot143 replied to JulieNYC's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
OK, first, that Tummy is fabulous!!! Wow, your dad must be top notch. I cannot believe the thigh pics are only two weeks out! What a dramatic difference. they look great! I would not mind having a scar down my leg like that at all, I don't really wear anything above the knee anyway so it would never show. You must feel like a different person without the legs flapping the the breeze! -
that's awsome. The most "mormon" place I've been is Salt lake and St. George. And of course all the temples we've been to. Salt Lake has been my favorite so far. The live sessions are amazing!
-
i do awful on sundays!! i can never track. and i hardly move. and i don't wear my bugg to church, it looks so bad under my church clothes. i just don't want to answer all the questions at church you know.
-
oops i'm 5'4", not 5'5"

my husband is 6' so he is supposed to weigh even less than you. When he finished boot camp he weighed 198 and was skin and bones! He was so thin. My husband is shaped a bit like you, a 30" inseam, legs that are pure muscle. He doesn't work out a lot like he should as a military man, but anything under 190 would not look to great on him. So him being overweight and being able to count each rib and his tailbone sticking out was quite enough. He looks great even at 210-220, higher than that his neck gets bigger and bigger! He is 260 now and a bit chubby, but still no gut. Now for me, I am 5'5" and supposed to weigh anywhere from 105-145. I am coming closer to that goal and don't imagine I will be happy at 145. I think I will still be a bit chubby there. Different body types look different I guess. I'm an hourglass shape.
