I just clicked on this thread, and haven't read the entire abortion part, but abortion is one of my only big hot buttons. I am totally totally anti-abortion. I do think that it is murder, I don't think it is the woman's right to choose to murder another human being. I do think that it is ok for the government to step in and make a law to ban it when women are too ignorant and selfish to realize that they are murdering another person. I am not all for big government, but when it comes to the wellbeing of innocent people that have no way to protect themselves, then I am all for it. What if a woman had a child and the baby is now about a year old, and she decides that she can't be a mother, she doesn't want a baby, it wasn't in her plans, ect. ect. So she kills it. It's murder. She would be sent to prison, she took the life of a beautiful child. there is no difference if the baby is inside of her. That baby had a soul and a heartbeat before she even knew she was pregnant. How could anyone, anyone human person justify murder? But as a society we say, "well, it is a woman's right to choose, it's her body! blah blah blah. It's not her right to choose to kill someone, sorry but it's still murder no matter where that baby is living. That's right the baby is living in the womb, it shouldn't be sentenced to death because someone made a mistake and didn't feel like taking responsibility and took the cowards way out. To commit a murder. If you get pregnant, and don't want it, give it up for adoption. Give that life a chance, you were given one.

I am now drinking the nurtrilite XS brand of protein shakes, you can also buy a big tub of just flavored powder too, they have chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Vanilla is gross, but chocolate and strawberry are actually pretty good, and I am very picky about protein anything, I hate the taste of it. You can only get it online through a distributer, I think the cans are about $30 for 12 11 oz. cans, but they have 35 grams of protein, and no additives in them, like dye for color or corn syrups or hydrogenated oils. Is it ok to be on antibiotics and have surgery? I have strep and i have to take penicillin for 10 days and my surgery is in 10 days!! I would normally just call my surgeon's office and ask, but I have been such a pain in the butt for them, I had to reshedule twice this month for my surgery due to my loan not being here on time. so i rather not bother them if I don't have too. Does anyone know what the guidlines are for this.

I'm sure you already know what you need to do to fix this problem, but I am always on the go also, well at least I was until I moved here. I would keep a small cooler in the car and pack snacks and a sandwhich, I also carried an energy bar and i ate half of it for a chocolate fix. If I did eat fast food, I got a happy meal. I wasn't perfect all the time obviously or I wouldn't be here, but eating out was very expensive, think of all the money you would save if you didn't eat out everyday. Add it up, it's crazy.

Hi, I am a self pay and my Dr. requires cash in an envelope, lol. Like it's a freaking drug deal or something. I can bring a check but they will have a car take me to the bank to cash it and bring the cash back to the dr. I'm in Germany so i'm sure it's different in the States. I had to take out a Home Equity Line to get the surgery, made it more affordable, the payments are lower than if I got an unsecured loan. Still a financial burden, but I want this so bad that I'm not caring right now. I'm willing to babysit for money to pay the payment or something for extra cash.

saraincincy, i don't have the answer for you, but beware of slimfast, it is terrible for you. Look at the ingrediants of other protein shakes before you buy those. Slimfast is full of sugar, carbs, and hydrogenated oil. They only have 10 grams or protein and you can find better quality ones with triple that. a few weeks ago i bought tons of slimfast without realizing all that, and got home and read the labels and wasted about $25! Just wanted to give you a heads up.

I used it for 3 months a few years ago. It was awful!! You have to keep it refrigerated I took it just like the doctor told me to, and within a few doses it began to do it's thing i guess. Kind of gross. When i had a bowel movement it just looked like orange oil in the toilet. I was constantly in the bathroom, scared to death to ever pass gass because the orange oil would just flow! One time i was at my MILs by myself and sitting in thier lazyboy and had gas and passed it and it leaked through my pants and all over their chair!! I was so so thankful noone was there, I cleaned it up fast and washed my clothes and left! I gave it up after 3 months and gaining 10lbs, it was super expensive, $120 mo.

Hi Sal, there is a thread here called Free LapBand, a wonderful couple here is giving away a free Lapband or providing financing for one, From somethings I've read, at your weight I think people mostly get gastric bypass. I'm sure you have done your research, I have not done that type of research, so i'm sure you know what is right for you. If you find that thread you can P.M the couple and they will be making a decision on christmas I believe. Good luck, I hope that you find your answer. Oh I am from Bradenton and that is about an hour south of you, there is a great dr. there that does lapband surgeries, i forget his name but I believe he works closely with Manatee Memorial Hospital.

I use nutrilite protein powder, i can taste anything with protein in it. It makes me gag, but I know a lot of other people who use this brand and swear by it.

Maybe the next move should be to forbid unruly children to dine in adult restaurants -- now there's an idea (for those people who want to spend quality time with their kids). *** Or, perhaps it will soon be illegal for obese people to order fattening foods. After all, some people are disgusted by watching an overweight person eat. Think about what that does to the observer's stress level, watching a fat person scarf down a cheeseburger..... Not a very valid argument here. 1. unruly kids are not causing others lung cancer or any cancer at that. 2. Fat people eating fattening foods are killing themselves and noone else. Secondhand smoke that kills others, not just the person smoking can't be compared to unruly children or fattening foods. really.

those stories are too cute!! I am a mom of 2 girls, Reagan is 21 mo. and Cami is 4yrs. They both just crack me up, my husband I frequently have to leave the room to laugh. My little one loves Nemo, it's all she talks about, well that and pizza which she pronounces peeda. My 4 year old goes to German kindergarten and now calls me ma ma, like the german kids do and instead of thank you she says "danka" and when i drop her off at school she says, "choose ma ma" The first time she started using German words we about fell off our chairs, it was so cute!!

That is one huge thing I miss about living in the States. In germany everyone smokes and it is so so nasty! We don't eat out in resteraunts at all because the smoke is so gross. I am all for this law. I hate paying money to eat out and get blasted with second hand smoke and increase my chances of cancer! Why should us nonsmokers risk our health for smokers? However, I could care less if people smoke in their own homes and outside, it's thier business if they want to ruin their bodies.

I don't necessarily think that people who are more educated are necessarily smarter, therefore have less children! Ok, so they have less children, not becuase they are smarter than us "idiotic" christians who believe that having children is one of the reasons we are on Earth, it's because they have made education their number one priority, not having a family. I have 2 children and 1 year of college, I had a full scholarship to any public college in florida, i was just as smart, graduated at the top of my class. I chose not to finish, i hated it. Most of the selfmade millionaires do not have a college degree. I am more business minded than paying 80k to go to college to get a piece of paper that may or may not get me a job building someone elses dream. I prefer to build my own dream, my own asset. I will have more than 2 children, not sure how many, but we will continue to have them until we feel like there aren't anymore for us.
