12 more days on phase one, so far so good. i would of never made it three days without simple carbs pre-band. I would have been weak and shaking. today i feel great, except my legs and butt are killing me due to cardio blast!! i weighed this morning, scale hasn't budged! i know it's only been 3 days, but i was hoping for some weightloss these past 3 weeks since my second fill.

the feta was low fat and only 2 tbl. spoons and i only ate the fillet part of the steak ( husband ate the rest) so that was about 6 oz. for the entire day i only had about 900 calories. Do you guys think those items are too high? i've never done this before so i could use some insight. today i've had 1 boiled egg 1chicken hotdog (only 90 calories in those) 1 package of tuna with 1tsp. ff mayo 4cups of water so far still have dinner to go and get 4 more cups of water in exercise: 1hr. cardio blast at the gym, kicked my booty!! I can hardly walk now. and i committed to go back to the gym with my friend in about 2 hours for treadmill and eliptical time, probablly 45mins. 13 more days to go on this phase 1!! yeahh. I can do this!!

ok, so i started the beach today. and it went awsome! i had : 2boiled eggs 2pieces of roastbeef lunch meat 2 greek salads with feta cheese 1/2 porterhouse steak that's it all day and i'm not hungry. but i am craving graham crackers. eating so good today even motivated me to get to the gym, i jogged 11/2 miles on the treadmill, about 40 minutes. 20 minutes of it at 4mph!! fast for me. yes i am from december thread, but kind of got lost for a while in my slow weight loss times. but i'm glad to have started this with you guys!! can't wait for friday to weigh in!

hey guy's i've been gone for a while. lots going on here. hubby went TDY for a while so i was super busy being single mom. Also, i've haven't lost as much as the rest of you, so i'm feeling a bit down with that. I would love to lose about 20lbs for march. i have been doing good on working out, i do pilates and a cardio video, i alternate days with the two. i'm in a comfy 18, 20's are long gone and i hope 18's are on their way out too!

ok, i know you guys have been on the beach for a few weeks now, but i just found this thread and I really want to join in. I have almost everything already to do so, lots of boneless skinless chicken breasts, turkey, lean lunchmeats, green veggies, so i can start today. so far today i've had a few bites of imitation crab with lemon, is that a no no?? if so, then i'll start tomorrow. My weight loss has slowed down a lot, so i'm a little depressed about it. only 23 lbs since surgery on December 18th!! i was hoping for about 50 lbs! i have 2 fills, my second once will be 2 weeks out tomorrow and today i tried to eat that crab for breakfast and it got way stuck, so hopefully the restriction has kick in. I'm praying!! i have the 10cc band and get fills undr fluoro, but the dr. said that i can't have anymore for 10 months! only 2 a year he says. i think that's crap. he said he made it nice and tight, so i hope so. well, i hope i can join your beach group, i am in a wedding in 6 weeks and would love to drop 30 lbs thats 5lbs a week. i hope i can do it!1

i had mine done in germany for about 5k

ok,so i went to the mideval hospital for my first fill. I was pleasantly surprised! I went in at 10am, they remembered i was coming for once! yeaah. the dr. came out within 2 minutes. looked at my tummy, and then took me to radiology. I layed on a table that tilted anyway they wanted, it was like an xray maching. I was freaking because they said they don't numb the area at all. So the dr. came with a big thin needle found the port no problem and did the fill. I drank yucky berrium a few times and then some water. The whole process took about 5 minutes, i didn't have to sit up either, they just tilted the table and i was pretty much standing up. I asked how much the filled it, they say that they don't know because thye just go by the screen to see if it is tight enough. I thought that was strange. but we'll see if it works. he said come back in four weeks if i get too hungry. i'm hoping this one works, i am not really losing anymore. I'm pretty much the same as the first week after surgery. I wish i was losing 40 lbs like the rest of you!!

i had the opposite effect. I remember my first migrane at 5yrs. old. I have been getting them about 1- 2x a week for almost my whole life. I had the lapband done a little over a month ago and haven't had one since. maybe it's just a coincedence, but my last migrane was the night before surgery. I hope that this trend sticks, i haven't had any type of headache meds for over a month.

carol, i'm so sorry for your friend. Steph- this weekend we aren't doing much, last weekend we went to Belgium. I didn't even get any chocolate there or a waffle! I was tempted to buy a new dining table though, their furniture is amazing. we are cuttting down on the traveling for a bit. when it gets warm agian we'll start back up. i am praying for restriction tomorrow!! i so want it, the weightloss is zilch and creeping back up!

Hi i'm 24, i have been banded for about a month. I am sick of being heavy, i want to look good in my 20's. I'm hoping by my 26th bday, i will be at goal and already have my TT. I'm married for 6 years already, but watch out world, here I come! I cannot wait to dress in my style, i think i will become obsessed with clothes. I was when i wore and 11 but if I wear a 6 or 8, i'll be even more obsessed. I want to shop at Express and H & M, Espirit, Sacks, Ann Taylor, ect. I sick of hanging in Lane Bryant at 24 with the giant tshirts and moo moos.

claudia yes i do use them. I sell them too. I've been using them for about 6 years and selling them for about a year. I especially love the skincare products and the NAO line, it's like MAC but not as expensive. If you like something let me know, the prices on there are a little more expensive than i can order for you. for example if you want a skincare system it says like $62 but I could order it for you for $50. it lasts about 6-9 months.

hey guys, longtime no talk. I have my first fill on thursday. Good news it's free and with flouro. my eating has been terrible! we wne to italian today and i got a pasta dish, ate too much, had graham crackers today too. I'm so hoping that this fill gives me some restriction. what are the rules for a fill? do i need to be onliquids tomorrow, any rules for the day of the fill. i wasn't given any guidlines.

Ok, so we all know that God and Creation can't necessarily be scientifically proven,right? Well it wouldn't be called Faith if it could. All is not revealed to us. our time on Earth is a test of our Faith, if we could Prove everything, we wouldn't have faith and our Test here on Earth would be pointless. We were created in "God's Own Image" Heavenly Father has a body of flesh and bone just like us. do we need the best eyes? or ears or whatever, no we don't. We are not living outdoors in the woods hunting food or living in the ocean! We are humans created just like out Maker. I'm sure he does have a Penis, if Adam has one why wouldn't God. For the Earth being Billions of Years old, maybe it is. Maybe we aren't the first life to inhabit it. That would explain dinosaurs. Maybe God is bound by rules, which is why he had to send his only son to to be the Saviour of this world. Maybe there are other worlds, I don't know. there is a lot we don't know or don't need to know, but if you understand where we came from, why we are here, what our purpose here is, and how we became, then a whole new world of possibilities open up. Who says God's parts are unneeded? maybe he needs them, or did need them at some point in time. These things are not revealed to us yet, and may never be, that is why we need Faith. It's ok with me not to be able to prove everything. I like having Faith and Hope. I like living a higher standard and being able to have a relationship with God and not have to make decisions on my own. I like to have guidance.

I think most problems in a marriage are fixable, if both of you are willing to work on it. I know that when you are resentful of your other half and have hurt feelings, it can be hard to want to work on those issues. I know i myself, have a hard time admitting that i am in the wrong with our relationship. I don't like to hear what I do wrong, it's hard. So in oder to fix what is broken I need to acknowledge what it is that needs fixing. Easier said than done, but soph, i know what you mean by saying why should we give up on a marriage becuase of one rough spot? He is human, we make mistakes, I think it is important to find out the root of this attitude. I think before we give up on a marriage we need to earn our way out of it. I think dr. phil siad that once. Sometimes it's easier to say, I'm done! I'm leaving! But when children are involved it's not all about us anymore. It's about them too. I hope that your issues are fixable and that both of you want to fix them. I completely understand where you are coming from. How do we put our foot down and demand respect and love? How many apologies will be accept before it's enough? What's the line? Recently a friend of mine's husband threw a hairbrush at her it hit her in the head, and then pushed her into the closet door. she defends it by saying she got up in his face and dared him to do it. do you guys think that is acceptable? I don't know what to tell her.

there is an awsome website for those of you at goal or who can fit sizes less than a 22 i think. I can't wait to shope from this store. I love about 90% of what they have. It's so classy. totally me. a few pieces are a little too old lady for me, but most are perfect. http://next.co.uk/ I wear and 18/20 and would not be comfortable in most of those clothes, as much as i love them. They go up to a u.k. size 22, not sure if it's the same as u.s. sizes or not. but I don't think I would buy anything until i'm a 12 at the biggest.

Wow, Brandi thanks for sharing! I can't even begin to imagine how you feel. You had no closure, that alone is so hurtful. I wish he would just talk to you and give you that. maybe if you had closure you could move on a little bit faster? I too had a boyfriend where i had no closure, just stopped calling and to this day, even after being happily married for 6 years. I dream about what I would say to him if i ever saw him again and what his reasons were. so weird because i don't ever htink of him or even care anymore. But maybe if i just knew what happened, then it would be out of my mind forever. I really admire your strenght and your willingness to do something for you. You are so smart at such a young age to recognize that you need to focus on changing yourself for the better. I'm sorry that he couldn't be a man and do what he had to do with some integrity and honor. what a coward. right? In the future you'll find the right one for you, it's weird how it works out, but maybe you had something to learn from that terrible experience that you will take with you in your next relationship. I heard this quote recently. "marriage isn't about finding the "right" person, it's about being the right person" It is so true. You doing exactly the right things by focusing on yourself for once. the best gift that you can give to a future mate is "your best self".
