I have been interested in Lap Band for a number of years. Weight has been a struggle all my life and while I strive to be an active person, something just is working right. All my bloodwork is normal, me diet is low calorie, balanced and well below my intake levels. In addition to going to the gym, I"ve been doing Bikram yoga almost every night. I just can't seem to lose weight. I've tried weight watchers, meal replacements, adkins, you name it. Even when I was hiking in the mountains on average about 7 miles a day for work, I still couldn't lose weight. I'm hoping that lap band is the answer. I don't like the idea of permanently messing with my insides, but lap band is something I can really believe in. Been doing research on it for about 6 years and am finally ready to make it happen. I've contacted a local doctor, got everything approved from my personal physician and am working on insurance. Hopefully, the real me is not too far off now.
