Well you guys were right. Things have gotten better or I've adjusted to the menu :-) I'm loving that the numbers on the scale are going down. It seems as if 7/02/10 is right around the corner!!!! I fighting yall!!!!!:thumbup:

Finallyncontrol...you are very encouraging.. I'm scheduled to banded next Friday and I can't seem to stay off this site. I'm nervous and kind of struggling with my preopt diet. Today was Day 7 and I must say it has gotten better but it's still hard.

I'm glad everything worked out for you today. I will be in your shoes next Friday. I will have a hell of a 4th of July with pain, soreness and oh yeah..LIQUIDS!!! Keep us posted and have a good recovery. Cami

:ohmy:OMG..I thought I was going to be excited to start my preop on Friday, boy was I in for a rude awakening. This has been a struggle. Don't know the best protein shakes to purchase and trying to find the right one. Any help out there

Oh..yes, I can have 1 serving (4-6 ounces) of lean meat and 1 serving of veggies. Today was not as bad as Friday. I pray next week is even better.

Okay.. I met Dr. Marsden on 6/10/2010 and I have a surgery date ( 7/02/2010). I have a lot of anxiety but I'm ready. I will have a hell of a way to bring in the 4th of July with liquids!!! I'm looking forward to seeing the healthier me so I may as well go for it!!! Wish me luck! I will keep you guys posted. I start my preop diet next week..yay :-))

Down more than 100lbs will not get on the scale until June 10th which will mark 1yr for me. Met my goal early working on toning now.

Congrats! You look "AWESOME"!!!! I was approved for my surgery on 5/26/2010 and have my first appointment with my surgeon on 6/10/2010. I'm soo excited yet nervous. It was a good date for you, hopefully I have the same success!!!
