    HATE chewable vitamins!!

Just what April said, these gummies are a TREAT!! I promise you wont regret buying them and I think I saw a small bottle for less than $7, so not a big investment should you really not like them, but I highly doubt it. Let us know if you try them and what you think. Have a great weekend. Ang-

    HATE chewable vitamins!!

The best chewable Vitamins are Vitafusion - they taste like gummy bears. You can find them at Target, CVS, Walgreens. Seriously, try them - they are soooo good. Ang-
  3. Its a pain to figure out what I want that is part of the plan, what will go down depending on how fickle the band is that day, and what will provide enough nourishment until the next meal. I am starting to think maybe I should jsut have Protein shakes for a couple meals a day . . . . Anyone else feel like this?
  4. I was on cymbalta for about 4 months and all I did was sleep, call the doctor and see if you can be switched to a diff med. Good luck.

    I need a friend

Hey, I understand what you are going thru, I did not get restriction until my 4th fill (now at about 9cc's in a 14 band). This early time is very important to get numerous fills. If at all possible I would go ASAP and then maybe again at the end of the month. Another thing that has been helping me is 1) working out and 2) tracking what you eat and noting the number of calories. As I started to track I started to make better choices which has helped in my WL. I am not losing at a fast pace but at least I am losing. The one other option, which I did not do but had a friend do was take a small dose of some type of appetite suppressant until she was able to get good restriction. Maybe your doctor could give you a prescription (maybe for only a month) so it can help you from gaining until you get good restriction. Message me if you want to talk further. Keep strong, it does work eventually. Angelique

  9. I am 12 days post op, doc said I could move to mushies and tonight I ate a can of tuna w/2 tablespoons light mayo and melted shredded cheese on top and 3 tablespoons hummus. Seems like a lot, what do you think?
  10. I am 5 days post op and drank a bunch of Soup really fast (no chunks or anything) and now my side feels like it is splitting. Has anyone ever experienced this? Have I done some major damage? Uhhh this is painfull and scary.

    Have I done major damage?

Thanks Happy, I just got scared b/c I have some strong pain in my side, not as if there is too much food in my throat like what I think being stuck might feel like but feel like the pouch is soooo stretched out. I hope it goes away soon, this is very uncomfortable.
  12. Today feeling GREAT!!! So suprised at the minimal pain and that i am able to move around and semi function. So far, the best decision I have made in my life. I know there were a few others on this site being banded this week and hope each of you are doing great. Wishing you (and me hehe) a speady recovery.

    Banded Yesterday and . . .

hello everyone, well i was a little gung-ho the first day b/c on day two i was feeling rough - almost like when you lift weights or workout and you dont feel the pain for the first 24-48 hrs and then all of a sudden you cant move lol. Although today i feel a bit better like getting in and out of a chair is easier than before. its a process i guess of good and bad moments but overall very happy. hope everyone is feeling better and better each day!!

    I'll be banded today

Congratulations!!! I was banded yesterday and the 2 things i found helpful so far was 1) keeping ahead of the pain by taking the pain medicine on a regular schedule (for me it was every 3-4 hrs) and 2) walk and then walk somemore . . i started with five min every hour and by the end of the day i did an 18 min walk (slowly). it really helped a lot with the gas and getting more limber. Let us know how you feel. Best of luck!!!
  15. this is just a test to see if my ticker works
