    Lower BMI Bandsters!

I asked the doc why the liquids after the fill...he said to jumpstart the weight loss again. But all that happened was that I lost a couple of lbs then gained it back plus some when I started eating real food again.

I feel a little bit of restriction, but I can eat anything just not alot. Bread, bagels- no problem. I need to feel like I hear people talk about taking three bites and can't eat anymore.

Susan, as you can see the doctor hasn't actually been stingy with the fills...he does request for me to come back every six weeks and I have been scheduling them approx. every four. This time I am going to wait the six weeks just cause I need it to play catch up since I have gained a teeter tottering 3-5lbs since my last fill (depending on if I weigh in the a.m. or p.m.) I have been eating more starch and sweets and I need to get that under control so the six weeks should give me enough time to get back on track.

Does everyone know which band they have? I have the VG 10cc. I think it makes a difference as far as how many fills you need etc.
  5. It wasn't done under flouro...only the first one was. This time he just put 1cc and that was it. The last time I had a problem drinking he took .5 out.
  6. I just had a fill on 2/8 and I still feel the same as before.

    October 2006 Bandsters!

Hello everyone, I didn't make it to 15 for the challenge...I got 4lbs away and started taking it for granted so now I am up 2. I am in for the Easter challenge so I hope to bypass the 10 but I will be happy with that.

Take a look at my stats and relax...How many fills have you had? I am really trying hard although I must admit I do slip up on the chocolate at 2pm alot. I have been trying to do a chocolate protien shake though for my afternoon cravings so that has been helping.

My experience has been different...people are telling me everyday that they notice I lost weight and I've only lost 19 lbs since surgery.

I am just glad everyone can relate to each other on here. I've posted to a few threads and I feel like I am talking to myself or that if you don't say you've followed the rules to the T you get alot of turned up noses.

Is Quickslim an appetite suppressant? I was wondering if you found that you needed it to curb your appetite or cravings. I need to take the appetite suppressants from my previous doc not to crave the sweets. I am almost out of those and need something else to help that won't make me all jittery or give me a headache. I have been doing the Glacial Milk and that has been going well.:clap2:

    Lower BMI Bandsters!

I weigh early in the a.m. and then in the evening almost everyday. I notice a 2 to 3 lb change from morning to night. I would be scared not to weigh just in case it's only a few lbs I won't be devastated by all of the hard work I had put in.

I think 14% is high but for a consumer loan it usually is... Capital one offers health care financing and so does Care Credit, not sure if the rates would be any better but maybe worth a try. I do know they offer no interest or no pmts promotions though. If not then take this now then get the heloc and pay it off.

    Lower BMI Bandsters!

I went ahead and ordered the 1oz travel packs of both flavors to try them both. That way it will be convenient to take to work with me since they are pre-measured doses and the whole family can use them if they like them or they can be mixed with juice. I just want to feel good and energized and you convinced me that's what it does! I have tried it before in Sam's club when they were giving out samples but I don't remember the taste.:nervous Doesn't matter now I spent money on it so I will use them.:rose:

My stomach feels so full, I hate it!!!!!!!!!!! If you get up and move around you will stimulate your digestion. If you lay down you will probably continue to feel awful.

    Lower BMI Bandsters!

At first I was really bad about drinking while eating. I think I could have really lost a lot more by now. I am getting better about waiting the hour or at least 30 min. before I take a sip. I am just so used to washing my food down. That's the biggest problem that I have...the second is my sweet tooth it's like after 2pm I have to have chocolate and I have been noticing that when I am following the rules the craving for a Twix almost takes over! I think I miss the crunch when I am eating all protien and veggies b/c I normally like Milkyway. My doc wouldn't agree but I have still been taking my Adipex to curb my sweet cravings and to help me not graze all day until I reach my sweet spot...what ever that is...

My doctors office sells the Unjury...I also ordered some off of www.Unjury.com they are very nice and give you recipes for the shakes. They also have an unflavored that can be added to soups, or other foods. Check them out. I don't know what they mean about the chunks in the oatmeal, but I just tried stuff and if it didn't agree with me I didn't eat it. I couldn't tolerate apple sauce after surgery, but I was able to eat scrambled eggs...to each his own. I could see if you were going to gulp it down or something then I could see how it would pose a problem. Any way good luck!
