Dikotomy

My first lap band was placed in July of 2010.  I lost 30 pounds pretty quickly but then struggled with incessant hunger and fills which weren't doing the job.  In July of 2011, when I was at 10 cc in an 11 cc band, I had an infection at the port site and the port had to be removed via emergency surgery.  In October of 2011 my new port was reinstalled and connected to the old band and tubing.  So, I feel like I'm starting over -- I AM starting over -- but this time I will do everything in my power to make it work!
