I have just decided to go through with the lapband,  I attended Dr. Rossi's seminar and I have had my first appt.  My insurance requires 6 consective months of visiting my family doctor before I am considered.  My third visit with him is May 24th.  I have an upper GI scheduled for May 12th, I need to get an endoscopy done and a psychologist visit, so hopefully by Sept. I'll be able to have the surgery done.  I am a previous Gastroplasty patient, I had that in December 1993, so this is a revision surgery for me.  Dr. Rossi and his staff say that an approval should be no problem, due to the medications that I am taking due to my weight.  Will update when there's more to let everyone know.
