Hi everyone. Like most of you, I was banded in July With no big problems. I am curious about how much everyone has lost total including the pre op diet. It's hard to gauge not knowing the average. Also, how has life changed since everyones first fill. I am scheduled on the 12th for my first fill. Thanks

Hi, I have been reading about all the July Banders-- so happy for everyone's journey! I would love to be added to your July 7th list.. I am excited to finally be in a place where I am mentally and physically ready for the changes. Embarrassingly, I have postponed my surgery two times since October. Going under frightens me however I am ready to do this. Readying every ones post, sharing the same fears and excitment is encouraging. BEST of luck to all the July Banders.

Ann, I appreciate your story! I have been approved since last October and I have now rescheduled banding in July. I am scared of the unknown, of all the stories. I want to be thin and healthy

Thank you for your insight. Like you, I have been on the fence for months! I just received the news yesterday that my surgery has been approved and set for December 3rd. I have been trying to diet myself hoping that I would not have to proceed with surgery however I know it is the right choice for me. Can you tell me if you did the realize or LAP-BAND®? and how did you feel after surgery? I am scheduled for the 4 hour class next week to go over these questions however can you fell me in for now?
