Mine is also in left sholder area, right where bra cups meet strap. I like it there. You don't even realize it is there after it heals. -
Banded 4/7 and am down 37 pounds with one fill. Go back next week to see about another fill but don':thumbup:t know if they will give me one.

My doctor says there isn't one for the Realize band but they are contemplating a card.

I didn't make the decision. My surgeon chose my band. I am almost 2 months out so I don't have a lot of history either. However, so far, I love my band and I only had one fill about a week and a half ago. I have the Realize band and am very happy with it. I don't think one is necessarily better than the other. Good luck on your journey. -

Had my first fill yesterday. I was only apprehensive in the fact that I had no idea what to expect. It went great. It is not a big deal at all. Good luck to you all. -
Eat or Drink before a fill?

I asked my doctor today and he said no eating or drinking 2 hours before a fill. -
April Bandsters - How are you doing?

I was banded on April 7th. My first fill appt is on Thursday as well. I am able to eat anything, just trying to make wise choices. Hoping to start this fill journey so it will get a little easier to know when to stop. My surgeon says count Protein not calories or fat but avoid all sugars. I really enjoy reading about everyone else. It is very inspiring. Good luck to you all! -

Been watching posts on this site for a month and thought it was time to join in. I was banded April 7. 2010. So far everything has been going ok. I can't wait to start my fills and get out of Bandster hell. I am not complaining but am ready to see the scale move. Looking foward to this adventure with you all.

Thanks, Katie! Not much movement lately. First fill is next Thursday. I know not to expect too much but at least it will be heading in the right direction. You look like you are right there with me. When were you banded?
