So far, everything is "GO". I had my Mid-Options program appointment with Dr. Alskaf on Friday (8-13-10), and he was pleased with my progress.
At our first consultation on 6-8-10, my weight was 324. At the 8-13-10 appointment, my weight was 299.
I walked for one hour on most days for exercise, and I am adjusting to the calories I can consume daily.
What seems to work for me is that on the night before, I prepare my menu and schedule eating times for the next day. I usually plan three meals and two snacks that fall within my calorie range.. By eating a regular intervals, I keep from ever feeling real hunger, and I'm consuming more fruits and veggies. Making this a lifelong process now seems very possible,
