I have always been the oddball I suppose. I eat about 2 cups of food a meal . 3 times a day .. most days I have snacks also . *shrug*

30 lbs in 5 months is 120 in 20 months !!!! I say you rock ..... slow and steady wins the race

My advise would be not to stress the process... the band will work if you use it to your advantage. Do not be afraid to eat . I can eat bread and meat - I don't think there is anything I can not eat . I just cant eat the amount i used to. If you need an unfill do not be afraid to do that . Sometimes eating more is a good thing. Your body needs fuel. 10 lbs ago I started Weight Watchers because the band had done all the band was going to do on its own ... now I had to help it . I just started exercising this week ... i work and go to school full time so my schedule is crazy, I just do 25 mins in the morning .

I was banded 8/2/10 and have finally hot the 100 lb mark ... actually its a bit more ! I am super excited and looking forward to getting to goal !

I did not start exersizing really until the start of the summer... elliptical machine and stuff.. Now I really just work out on the treadmill for an hour / 2 days a week . I work and go to school full time sooooo not much time for exersize

I have lost 95 and only have 90 more to go !!!!!! I am over the half way mark .... I am super excited. I love my band "roberta". Best decision I ever made !

... that is unless i lose 8 lbs in the next 2 weeks... bwahahahahah. Is cool . I have done amazing and hopefully will be at goal this time next year !

I had the totally OPPOSITE experience at NYU. My surgery was on 8/2/10 and my consult was approx a month before. Everything went smoothly with the insurance and I was always kept abreast of any "hiccups". Dr. Ren was amazing and my follow up has been great . I would reccomend anybody to NYU.

Yes I am at restriction after only had 3 fills.. I think i am at 6.3 in a 10cc band but im not sure. All I know is after that last .3 (about 2 months ago) I said i was not going back for any more fills .. lol . This feels perfect !

I have lost 60 pounds give or take and still have 110 to go .. but this has been the best decision ever. Dr. Ren at NYU Medical Center was the best and everything has been super easy. I have lost all this weight before .. hopefully the band will help me keep it off this time !

Hosework will not make your band slip.... no worries.

My surgeon says I can drink diet pop .. Dr. Ren-Fielding is one of the best in the biz so I am riding with her.

It is amazing how many different places surgeons put your port . Mine is waaay to the right of belly button somewhere between my boob and waist. Where is yours?

Nope you will be fine ... I had my period during surgery. They gave me mesh panties and a big ole pad . you will be fine !
