Hi, I am preparing to have my Lap Band surgery on November 1, 2010. I am a little nervous about the procedure, but am also hopeful that this will work for me. After years of yo-yo dieting, losing and re-gaining weight, I was at the end of the road with options.I have high blood pressure, pre-diabetes, sleep apnea, joint pain, low back pain, and I become winded after walking or climbing the steps in my home. Currently my weight is 260 and I have never been this heavy in my life. I turn 40 in a few weeks and I finally said, "enough is enough"! I want to live a long, healthy life, enjoy my grandkids and be able to keep up with them. Any help or advise along the way, will be greatly appreciated!
