I am in the process of completing the steps to get my band. The insurance approved it and all i need to do is the pulminary, the ultrasound, and a class. But I am dragging on getting that stuff done. I have had surgery before and I am not afraid of a nip and tuck here and there...but why am I hesitant to do this. I am really scared. I need feedback from some of you that have done it and what you think. I have been battling weight all my life. My highest weight was 370. I changed my way of eating and started to exercise and lost 170 lbs, met a guy, got pregnant, now a single mother of beautiful special needs little girl and cant seem to get the weight off I gained. Everything hurts, from my hips to my knees, and dont forget my back..wow! One of the ways that I was able to lose it before was by keeping BAD foods out of the house and spending leisure time at the gym. Well, I dont have leisure time anymore.....and the ironic thing is that my daughters condition requires her to eat high fat foods that I am preparing daily. So its down to this, if I dont lose this weight, I may not live a long life to take care of my little girl. But I am afraid of the risks involved as well. HELP!
