Hi, My name is Alesha! I had VGS on September 16, 2013. I tried many many times, and my insurance kept finding things "wrong" with my paperwork, and I would get a denial letter in the mail. I FINALLY got approved and it was one of the happiest days of my life. My highest weight was 412 pounds. The day of surgery, I was 365. Now, 5 months to the day, I'm at 274/275 pounds. I know that's good, but I have been at a LONG DREADED STALL 2 months!! I get discouraged and almost loose my religion because I was diagnosed with neuropathy in December. I have had physical therapy and still have trouble walking and getting around without the assistance of my walker. Do you think its because I'm less active is the reason I'm at a stall? I was thinking of going on another liquid diet, to kinda jump start the loosing process again. Does anyone know how long a stall typically lasts? Or if their is anything I can do differently? And last but not least, does anyone know anything about neuropathy? Glad to be here and hope to make tons of friends!! Have a great and blessed day!! xoxo
