Hello ArmyGirl,
Prior to getting my lapband I put myself on a 1000 Cal\Day diet and lost 42 lbs. Since getting my band almost a year ago I've lost a total of 106 lbs. So it's been 64 post band and 42 pre band. I walk as much as I can and yes... i do use the wii and I also use another program that uses the wii remotes called "Active". When the weight loss slowed down I started to look for something that could help... something that would be a change and a challenge. That's when I started the Couch-to-5K program. I never thought I could do it but I did... since then I've participated in three 5K races! My best advice is to continue to watch what you eat because the stuff that goes down easy is probably high in calories. ) Let the band work for you... you're obviously doing well with a 70 lb weight loss and dont really need any advice from me. Keep up the good work - it's all worth it!
