Hi,Im 22 years old and decided to get a lapband when I saw photo's of myself on facebook that my friend put up and I cried! I had no idea how large I had become, it wasnt ubtil I saaw these photo's I reaslied just how big I had become.I also had a cyst on my ovaries and my Dr reccommended I loose weight so that it didnt develop into PCOS. My mother got a lapband in 2005 so I knew what it was about and how successful it was for her. She started off a size 22 and is now a happy and healthy 14-16.I got my lapband put in on the 30th September 2009. I was 122kg before surger and as of today (5th May 2010) I am 106kj. My goal weight is 75 kg.
