Thanks very much for the info but the reason why I was referred to an outside surgeon was becasue the surgeons office on post was not accepting anymore patients and the wait list was 2 years. I got my approval for surgery from Tricare last friday after additional info was sent to them for review and I am schedule to have surgery on 2 June....Good luck and i hope all goes -

Finally I got my approval in less than 24 hours after faxing my additional information and send my appeal yesterday evening....thanks for all the prayers and support. -

So today I went to see my PCP and was diagnosed with hypertension and was given med so I faxed that information to the surgeons office and she should be sending it over to tricare as additional information. I am hoping and praying that this works out for me...... -

Unfortunately I was denied b/c tricare stated I am not 200% and that my asthma will continue to be unchanged....I have no ideal of where to begin or what to do. I guess I can start weight wather and go on from there. -
I was denied today also so I guess I need to work on my appeal.

I have been doing that all week I think I check way too many times and call about the status. Mine was submitted on monday so online it is still pending it has been a long stressful week this week...But hang in there and I hope and pray that all goes well for you.. -
Hi I am new to site just wanted to say hi I have a date of 5/26/10 and I am awaiting my approval from tricare. so anyday now I should know the outcome....I am so nervous the wait is killing me I am 100 pounds over w/asthma high cholesterol and reflux...dont know what the outcome will be...
