My story is pretty simple, I have been wanting the surgery for a long time.  I done all my homework and talked to people that have done all three surgeries.  After 4 years of investigating I decided to go with the lap-band.  I am overweight but I felt like I was notenough for the other two types of surgery.  The lap-band has its ups and downs like any other surgery, but I felt like if I gained a little I could always go see the doctor and get a tightening.  I have always struggled with weight problems and felt like it was time for me to do something about it.  I have two beautiful kids and a Beautiful Wife that I want to spend a lot of time with so I decided after two serious Kidney stone attacks that it was time.  I pushed my surgery to have it over our spring break and I had it on April 30, 2010and it has been a great experience so far.  I have a lot of questions about posy-op and this is why I joined the forum.
