That's great news - you sound invigorated! It oftens takes about 4 -5 fills to get to where you feel the restriction so I hope that newer bandsters know to watch what they're eating for the first while as in dieting before they reach good restriction. Weight watchers - i was doing that over the winter and lost about 10-12 pounds would have been more if I had stuck to it better - I didn't have good restriction though as I was waiting on an operation where i would have to defill that was postponed so went a while with not much restriction. I will be going back for a fill soon. Good luck and if you have any questions or need support please feel free to email me. I've done every diet there is but this time I have my lapband to ensure that i stay down at the weight i want. -
If they're not huge you can always put dr. scholl's foot pad in - that's what i did with a beautiful pair of shoes my mom wore once to my brother's wedding, they were a full size too big but with the foot pad fit well and oh sooooo comfortable.

How is it goin? Any better? I use myfitnesspal to track carbs - it really helps to be accountable. also if you check out the atkins site it is very helpful. Atkins has an induction phase for 2 weeks and carbs need to be under 20 grams. When I am out i always have hot wings with blue cheese dipping sauce and caesar salad without croutons - super yummy and doesn't upset my diet - I usually have 2 pints of coors light draft as well - i don't necessarily lose any weight that day but i never once have gained after this meal. p.s. it gets easier the longer you stay away from the white carbs. I grew up with those and after a few days not weeks my cravings all but disappeared. -
Your first line is absolutely true. I wouldn't go out with a fat guy and i don't expect cute guys to go out with me if i am overweight. Just my opinion.

http://www.livestrong.com/thedailyplate/nutrition-calories/food/crunch-master/oven-baked-rice-crackers-sesame-flavored/ looks like they have quite a few carbs. anytime you may have a question about a food, type in the food name followed by nutrition and you will find the answer easily. Livestrong is a great website for this sort of info as is calorieking

I am doing for 10 days just Protein with a little bit of non fat greek yogurt in the morning with tbsp and half of oat bran, then having steamed fish or canned chicken, turkey, salmon with 1 tbsp half fat mayo and bit of chopped onion and pickle, or 2 poached eggs. this is the Dr. Dukan diet. I thought I would try it to get my weight moving again and it has started moving again. I am not bored with the food I'm eating as i spice up the food well. I will probably change to Dr. Atkins in a few weeks. I like to switch up my diet when the scale stops moving. I am using my fitpal to monitor exactly what i eat and how much Water i drink which is about 10 - 12 glasses a day. I am eating approx 850-950 cals a day. I'm not hungry. It is only a suggestion. I have included a link just in case you would like to take a look. I am doing the attack phase and have taken off 8 pounds since saturday. I take a tbsp liquid Multivitamin Centrum and a dose of Vitamin b complex also in liquid form. I had only lost 25 pounds as of about a month ago in a year. Now i'm doing anything to shake up things to get the rest of the weight off. I'm on the treadmill for 20 minutes per day doing a brisk walk (approx 2.8 - 3.0 mph) as still cold outside here in Canada. http://thedukandiet.info/

hello, i am having jaw surgery on tuesday, just need a few "i'll pray for you" and "good luck" thank you Lena from Canada
-
thanks Sue again for your kindness, you're afraid to swallow as you can feel intense pressure in the ears. I've taken 2 robaxacet just a few minutes ago a little ahead of schedule. I have already prayed to God, please no more - it honestly is that scary and painful. I'm going so far as to have my boyfriend call me from work during the night to wake me so i can take the pain meds.

further update on jaw surgery - a new pain (the other pains are not gone yet after 4 weeks) has started and that is muscle spasms. It happened 2 nights ago. It feels like somebody has shot you in the temple and that fluid is flowing out of your ear - you positively hit the ceiling. I have never been shot and God please I hope that never happens but that is what I equate this problem to. It happened this morning while I was out with my sister for a coffee, I haven't been out much because don't feel great. I started crying right there in the restaurant and I'm 47 years old. I emailed my surgeon when I got home and they answered to take robaxacet as directed and if pain doesn't go away in 24 hours to notify her. I'm assuming that she would then call in a prescription for a stronger muscle relaxant. I had 1 robaxacet here at home and took that and as I was taking it had another attack and literally went through the ceiling in the bathroom followed by fits and buckets of tears - it is so scary. I say and will repeat - not childbirth, not the lapband operation compares to the pain from jaw surgery and now this added element of pain. I can't wait until it's all over. I am living in complete fear that I will have another spasm.

hello, hope you were able to resolve this sticky uncomfortable situation.
